Our Story…
It all started with a road trip. A small vacation at a bed and breakfast in Virginia. We toured a winery, took a bike ride, and chatted at the local tavern. Every step of the way, we had board games, card games, and video games to fill our time. We thought, don’t gamers want to take an adventure away from home? That was 2018, and now Adventure Away provides vacations to hundreds of gamers from all over the country.
Doesn’t everyone find it difficult to schedule long gaming sessions? Life is busy. Adventure Away was born out of our love for tabletop gaming and a desire to schedule a long gaming session weeks in advance.

Wayne Denier II, (he/they) Owner and Creative Director, Over 20 years of Dungeon Master Experience, Background in Web Design, BA in Game Design.
